My fondest summer memories is when i traveled to Honduras to see my family that i had not had a chance to meet. when i went it was a huge surprise i sort of came home from school one day when my parents told me that we where going. after a painfully long and mind numbingly boring flight from Roanoke. i finally arrived; but just so i could get into a car and drive three hours to get to my grandmas house. apart from being bored out of my mind in the car i at least got to see the beautiful landscape of Honduras. i got to see the exotic wildlife like colorful macaws and toucans. it was all just amazing and once i got to see the countryside; i didn't want to leave. once i saw where my grandmother lived i know i was going to enjoy every second of staying there; she lived next to a sugar cane field with just miles of empty terrain. the rest of the summer did not have a dull moment in it.
